We need your help to sustain and enhance the work of the National Wraparound Initiative. Please become an individual member OR an organizational subscriber of the NWI and support our efforts to continue making the latest wraparound information and resources available to everyone.

Over the past few years, demand for high-quality wraparound implementation in states and communities across the U.S. has been steadily increasing. This expansion in interest in community-based, individualized care for youth with complex needs is at least partly due to the efforts of the National Wraparound Initiative, which has worked to provide relevant, useful resources and information to stakeholders about wraparound, its research base, and its implementation. Now we need the support of members and subscribers so that the NWI can continue providing this important public service.

The increased need for wraparound-related information and resources comes at a time when support from federal and foundation sources is scarce. To respond proactively, we have decided to move the NWI from an organization funded solely by a few small grants to a more sustainable and responsive model built and supported in part by members (though the NWI will also seek funding from wraparound initiatives, foundations, and government resources). The goal is to expand the NWI’s capacity to meet a wide range of stakeholder needs in a way that builds on the spirit and values that have motivated the NWI’s work.

The main benefit of your membership or subscription is that it will support the NWI so that the NWI can support wraparound.

The move to becoming a membership- and subscription-based organization does not mean that access to current or future NWI materials will be restricted. Quite the contrary, our hope and expectation is that, in keeping with the principles of wraparound, the more who join together and contribute, the more the NWI will be able to provide to everyone.
